Prof Jamal Raza

He is MBBS, MCPS, FCPS, & MRCP. He is a professor & pediatric endocrinologist. He was among the founding members of the Pakistan Endocrine Society. He is president of the Pakistan pediatric association, society of pediatric endocrinology & diabetes, & NICH trust. He is member governing body at NCD Child global.

Dr Imtiaz Hassan

He  received his MBBS from the Allama Iqbal Medical College, fellowship in internal medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, and a post-graduate diploma in diabetes from Cardiff University UK. He has been a member of AACE since 2007. He is currently the medical director at the Diabetics Institute of Pakistan.

Salma Mehr

A Consultant Dietitian working as a Clinical Dietitian & Diabetes educator in the NHS for over 20 years. Currently working with Imperial College & NHS England as an advisor on Digital health. She has developed Digital resources with a number of diabetes digital providers including IDF DAR, DigiBete, MyWayMyDiabetes and Carbs & Cal.

Prof. Emerita Tasnim Ahsan

Currently works at JPMC  in the department of Medicine; Dean at MIDEM; Secretary of the Executive Committee of Endocrinology at CPSP; Member of the Scientific Review Panel for Biological & Health Sciences of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, and the Director of Diabetes & Endocrine Dept. at OMI. 

Dr. Khadija Nuzhat

Associate Professor & Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist at AKU. She initiated the first structured fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at AKU & then had it accredited by CPSP Pakistan. She is the founding member and general secretary of the Society for Pediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes Pakistan- SPED-P.

Saba Tanveer

 Living with Type 1 Diabetes did an MBA in banking & finance.  Served for United bank Ltd as a Manager of Consumer banking in Peshawar.  Served as Operation Manager at Abaseen Institute of Medical Sciences Sugar Hospital Peshawar. Currently the Lead of Juvenile Diabetes Unit, Director Operation at AIMS Pakistan, & member of Diabetes Association KPK

Moti Khan

Dietitian/RDN has served at The Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi as Dietitian, Section Head of Clinical Nutrition dept. Her specialty includes Nutrition Intervention in Obesity,  type 1 Diabetes (Carbohydrate Counting), type 2 Diabetes, Cancers, and Enteral Nutrition Management. She’s a Trainer, Speaker, and Practicing Dietitian.

Ahsan Rasheed

Has a daughter living with Type 1 Diabetes. Entrepreneur & partner in one of the Big 10 auditing firms of the world. Member of Pakistani & International financial bodies like Institute of Chartered Accountants of  Pakistan, Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales, Member of CIA, CISA (USA). 

Prof Dr Asher Fawwad

Currently Professor & Head of the Research & Biochemistry department (BMC), Consultant Diabetologist & Director of the Research department at (BIDE). He is one of the pioneers of the Diabetes Registry of Pakistan. In addition to MBBS & post-graduation in the field of diabetes, he also holds a Ph.D. in medical science.

Dr Sana Ajmal

Dr. Sana has type 1 diabetes and has held various prestigious positions at the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). She has a Ph.D. in Comp. Engineering.  Her passion for the cause and in-depth understanding of the issues faced by people living with diabetes is the driving force behind Meethi Zindagi’s people-centered initiatives.

MADDIE JULIAN

Maddie is DigiBete’s Co-Founder/Director and parent of a child with type 1 diabetes. Maddie has over 15 years Commercial Arts and Educational Project experience.

ROB JULIAN

Rob is DigiBete’s Co-Founder/Technical Director and parent of a child with type 1 diabetes. Rob has over 20 years media/film production experience.

Anum Anwar

Living with type 1 diabetes since the age of 4, Anum has an MPhil in Molecular Medicine, with a special research interest in diabetes. Anum is a strong advocate trained by the “Diabetes Hands Foundation”, and the League of DiAthletes. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator and Education & Peer Support Manager at Meethi Zindagi.

Dr. Hamayle Saeed is a recent MBBS graduate actively connected with Meethi Zindagi on various projects since 2020. She is passionate about endocrinological research, diabetes education and evidence-based clinical practice. She is currently pursuing medical licensure for the United States.
